The following are a list of questions that we are frequently asked, however if you need to know something not covered here please call us on 0800 350 500
Who am I insured by? Toyota Motor Insurance is primarily underwritten by Aioi Motor and General Insurance Company of Europe Limited - part of the Toyota family of companies - although a very small number of policies may be underwritten by a panel of insurers. Details of your Insurer will be clearly shown on your Policy Schedule.
What level of cover can Toyota Motor Insurance offer me? Toyota Motor Insurance can provide you with Comprehensive cover, or if requested over the telephone, restricted Third Party Fire and Theft cover.
What is a no-claims discount (NCD)? A NCD means you receive a reduction on your premium, based on your claims history. Claims for windscreen damage do not affect your NCD.
How many claims can I have before I lose my No Claims Discount? If you have chosen to take out No-Claims Discount protection, your no claims discount will not be reduced unless you have already made two claims in the last three years. This means that if your car is stolen, or if you have no other party to claim against, you will not lose your No-Claims Discount. Policyholders must have at least 4 years No-Claims Discount and be over 21 years old to be eligible for No-Claims Discount protection.
Can I be sure your website is secure? You can be assured security was uppermost in our mind when we designed this website. The encryption technology we use means that your transaction will be as safe as any credit card transaction over the telephone.

I've recently had an accident. Who do I report the accident to? The Toyota Motor Insurance claims notification line is open 24 hours a day/365 days per year. Please call us on 0845 1254067. If the police do not attend the scene of the accident and anyone is injured, you must report the accident to the police within 24 hours. What guarantee do you offer on repairs? As long as a Toyota Motor Insurance Approved Repairer carries them out they are guaranteed for 3 years.
What is a Legal Assistance Plan? In many cases where accidents occur, there may be costs that are incurred by you, even if you were not liable. These costs could include your excess under your Toyota Motor Insurance policy, or the costs of claiming against someone who does not have motor insurance. The Legal Assistance Plan is a service that claims back these sums on your behalf, which means you receive back most, if not all, of any costs you may have incurred. The service also covers the pursuit of any damages should you be injured in a motor accident. We have a choice of two Legal Assistance Plans - a £50,000 and a £100,000 product.
